This page is all about me. Who I am and how I came to be here!

I became a health coach after many years of struggling with a myriad of nuisance ailments.

I would like to tell you some things about my journey to wellness.

 

Most of my health problems seemed to be about my character; I was led to believe the problems I was having were due to lack of will power, failure to think positive or just plain laziness.

Here are some of the things I was dealing with:

  • Excessive Weight Gain
  • Unexplained Anxiety
  • Loss of self esteem
  • Insomnia
  • Fatigue
  • Brain Fog
  • Memory Loss
  • Frequent Bouts of Bloating, Cramping, Gas, Diarrhea and Constipation

The list goes on.

It took a lot of time and suffering before I was able to see the truth!

 

I was a yo-yo dieter for many years and literally spent decades losing and gaining the same 20-30 pounds, over and over again!

I could not imagine why my body/mind/spirit was making me feel so awful!

In an effort to correct what was happening to me, I began a decades long series of extreme diets.

I tried low calorie, low carb and low fat.

I went to the gym, I took yoga and I did aerobics.

After a few weeks of deprivation, I would find myself bingeing on every ‘easy’ calorie or carb I could get my hands on!

My body was trying very hard to save me from this destructive eating cycle.

 

Throughout the entire process, what I could not see was the key to all my problems!

I was eating fast food, processed food, glucose spiking boxed and canned and chemical laden food. 

Food that was designed to have a LONG shelf life by removing parts that would spoil and injecting chemicals that would prevent spoilage!

Chemicals, preservatives, insecticides, fungicides, flavor enhancers, artificial colors, artificial flavors, hormones, ultra-concentrated glucose, processed sodium, synthetic fortifications…….and more.

My body was unable to identify many of the ‘foods’ I was eating!

My Immune system was on red alert.

My filtration systems were overloaded. 

Between the flavor enhancers, the hormones, the super-ultra concentrated sugars, the extreme and artificial flavorings and the ease and convenience of putting it in my mouth, something else was happening as well.

I was experiencing all the classic symptoms of Food Intolerance!

 

Not only was I eating artificial food, but it was so easy and so convenient that I did not even consider any other way of eating!

This is how I grew up.

Simply knowing this did not solve the problem though.

First, I had to realize that our system of commercialism has created a marketing machine that dehumanizes us and allows no TRUE self love to be realized!

We are all portrayed as being less than we should be.

We are led to believe we must spend our time and money in an impossible effort to ‘fix’ ourselves into the illusion of perfection.

 

I deprived myself of nourishment of every kind in a futile effort to feel like I was enough;

Skinny enough?

Smart enough?

Pretty enough?

Useful enough?

Fun enough?

This is what I was taught.

This is what I believed about me!

This is what my peers believed.

This is what I saw every day on TV and listened to every hour on the radio.

This is what we have all been brainwashed into believing.

None of it is true!

 

I am Perfectly ME.

 

Right here, right now, just as I am.

I appreciate myself enough to provide my mind-body-spirit with healthy food and positive lifestyle choices.

I discovered ways to free myself from psychological marketing schemes designed to KEEP me addicted to poor quality, nutrient deficient, chemical laden, sugar concentrated and fake. over processed ‘food like’ products.

I joined a group of like minded people and became empowered and accountable.

This self-care has resulted in a series of natural and measurable outcomes:

  • Sustainable Weight Loss
  • Vibrant Energy
  • A Sense of Well Being
  • Spiritual Balance

I am offering you a system of SELF-CARE that provides the opportunity to develop a vibrant and joyful lifestyle!
